How does applying for SSL certificates work?
As a reseller, requesting an SSL certificate for your customers is very simple. An SSL certificate is basically requested from a certificate authority, such as Sectigo. At OXXA.com, we arrange this easily and quickly for you. We also install the certificate immediately. So your customer's website is secured and certified in the shortest possible time. A certificate is valid for a minimum of one year. Every year you can renew it again, but you also have the option to automatically renew the SSL certificate(auto renew). As a reseller you go through the following steps to request an SSL certificate for your customer.
Log into your my.OXXA.com environment
Choose on the left side of the portal for 'SSL'. You then see the overview of the SSL certificates you have already requested.
Choose for 'New SSL'. You will then see an overview of the most popular SSL certificates. You can also choose another SSL certificate based on the type of validation and the type of certificate.
Click on'Order'
Then fill in the requested data at Organization, Admin or Tech and click on Generate CSR. CSR stands for Certificate Signing Request and is a piece of code that stores information about the certificate to be requested. For each SSL, you create a new CSR.
One of the data you must now enter is the domain. Fill this in at Common name / (sub)domain.
Click on'Generate'.
